Terms of Use
Effective date: April 30, 2026 ยท Snow Leopard Labs LLC
1. The service
Sworn provides an encrypted DNS resolver, mobile apps, and partner-SMS notifications, operated by Snow Leopard Labs LLC ("we", "us"). By using Sworn you agree to these Terms.
2. Acceptable use
- You may only add phone numbers as partners with the consent of the person who owns that phone. We require partners to explicitly confirm by SMS for this reason. Adding numbers without consent in an attempt to harass is a violation of these Terms and will result in account termination.
- You will not abuse the SMS path โ including but not limited to bulk-registering accounts to send invite SMS to phones you don't have permission to contact.
- You will not attempt to circumvent the per-user, per-phone, per-IP, or global rate limits.
- You will not use Sworn to enable or facilitate illegal activity.
3. No warranty
Sworn is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Filtering is best-effort: we cannot guarantee that every site you would consider blockable is in our blocklists, nor that allowed sites will always resolve. The service is not a substitute for human accountability or professional support.
4. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Snow Leopard Labs LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Sworn โ including but not limited to lost data, missed alerts, or content that should have been blocked but wasn't (or vice versa).
5. SMS costs and rate limits
Sworn enforces per-destination phone, global daily, and per-IP caps to bound abuse. We may further reduce or temporarily suspend SMS sending if costs spike unexpectedly.
6. Termination
You can stop using Sworn at any time by uninstalling the app and disabling Private DNS in your device settings. We may terminate or suspend access for accounts that violate these Terms.
7. Changes
Material changes to these Terms will be reflected in the effective date above and surfaced in the apps on next launch.
